Marianna, FL office Your role in our success will be... This position is required to independently engineer division electric substation, transmission, distribution construction and major maintenance projects within prescribed timelines. Evaluates, selects and applies sound engineering techniques, best practices, procedures and criteria, using good judgment in developing project scope and design of a safe and reliable electric system. Manage capital projects including the oversight of construction of electric utility distribution, transmission, and substation projects. Work directly with the Operations Manager to ensure projects are delivered with cost and schedule certainty. What you'll be working on...
Who you are... Education: Four-year bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil engineering field from an ABET accredited or equivalent college or university or equivalent utility specific experience. Related Experience: Minimum of five progressive technical years of Transmission and or Distribution experience preferred. Five years work experience in project management preferred. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Employee must have ability to perform technical and complex engineering functions, effective written and oral communication skills, and team-work skills.
