Position Summary:

The Strategic Account Manager is a critical point of contact for Strategic accounts. The position is responsible for selling company product and services into these accounts and supporting the outside sales force. The SAM maintains and in-depth knowledge of strategic customer requirements. The SAM is to be an advocate for the customer and all TTM plants. The SAM will be responsible for reviewing and maintaining customer score cards. The SAM is responsible for working with the factories to keeps the scores in good standing. Works with the Sr. Director, Strategic Sales Team and outside sales to identity value added opportunities with the customer. Manages customer communications with the plants and resolves customer related issues. Key TTM resource for managing the customer relationship and communicating changes in the marketplace. Provides input to strategic planning, business development processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Field Sales
  • Responsible for growing profitable revenue and market share with assigned customer.
  • Sell TTM production capabilities across all A&D plants.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts and ensure expectations are met throughout the entire sales cycle.
  • Maintain bookings and sales forecasts and report new opportunities and timing to the LOB team.
  • Ability to solve problems and remove barriers to foster the entire customer experience.
  • Notify Strategic Account Team of any special customer needs/requirements.
  • Participate in Production Readiness Reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews and communicate all customer concerns effectively to the LOB stakeholders.
Business Development
  • Identify new business opportunities. Responsible to identify new business trends and provide territory intelligence to Strategic planning/Marketing as a key resource for managing the account relationship and customer requirements. Coordinate all TTM resources to successfully grow sales in the assigned territory.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Sales and the Pricing team on new development opportunities and develop strategic approach to increase capture.
  • Focus on growth of franchise programs to support the LOB goals and objectives.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • PCB Industry, knowledge of manufacturing processes, knowledge of selling techniques in prospecting, engaging, and closing sales.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, skill in gathering and translating information accurately.
  • Work independently and communicate effectively to ensure and efficient and smooth sales experience for the customer. Ability to manage the customer relationship and resolve conflict.
  • Must be willing to travel 10-15% of time.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years field selling experience in the PCB industry. Developed selling relationships.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition ofForeign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
