As a Platform Developer - Storage & System Hardware, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, optimizing, and supporting the next generation of scalable, resilient storage infrastructure. Job Requirements, but not limited to: Build and maintain tools to supervise and support sophisticated storage systems like PFS, ZFS, and XFS. Solve and resolve performance, reliability, and configuration issues in large-scale environments. Collaborate with hardware and software teams to optimize system integration and efficiency. Deploy and customize both in-house and commercial storage solutions (e.g., Lustre). Participate in system bring-up, validation, and performance tuning of hardware-aware software stacks. Chip in to automation frameworks and internal documentation for diagnostics and reporting. Qualifications: Strong programming skills in C/C++, with scripting experience in Python or Bash. Deep understanding of Linux systems programming and kernel-level debugging. Hands-on experience with file systems like PFS, ZFS, and XFS. Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus exporters) and benchmarking utilities (e.g., fio, dd). A genuine curiosity about computer hardware-memory hierarchies, NVMe, compression cards, and more. Bonus Points For: Experience with distributed computing environments and HPC clusters. Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Singularity) and cloud-based storage architectures.
