Primary Purpose: The primary purpose of the Senior Sales Manager is streamline and improve both sales operations and sales enablement while challenging and motivating the sales team. This role is creating commercial efficiency through sales processes, reporting, systems and tools, supporting organic growth, and helps defines resource needs in collaboration with Sales Leadership to best meet and exceed supplier, customer, and internal expectations. What You'll Do:
- Inspire, challenge, and coach the Sales Managers and Sellers improving their sales and business acumen.Sellers need to optimize & maintain business, resecure lost business, and close organic business.This includes, but not limited to, pipeline meetings, lost business campaigns, tracking sales metrics, improving sales acumen through call evaluations, and holding Sales Mangers accountable.
Coordinates customer escalations.This includes, but not limited to, legal documents, quality and compliance documents, customer payment terms, fulfillment failures, and ad-hoc urgent escalations. - Partners cross functionally to identify gaps and opportunities for efficiency.
Partners with the Sales Enablement Analyst to optimize and improve seller onboarding, sales training curriculum, and career development. - Reviews and optimizes territory segmentation, alignment, and resource allocation.
- Demonstrates job competencies and remains accountable for performance in area of responsibility and AOP objectives.
- Performs other related duties as required or requested.
What You'll Need: Education/Experience/Training:
- Bachelor's degree from fully accredited four-year institution or equivalent work experience is required
- 10+ year's experience in business-to-business sales organization, CRM management
- 5-7 years experience with customer and territory management
Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
- Experience and sound knowledge of using PC and Windows OS, database experience preferred
- Knowledge and experience working with MS Office Suite, with strong Excel skills
- Consultative selling skills
- Exhibits some versatility when interacting with customers, suppliers, and outsourced relationships
- Effectively conveys ideas and concepts via multiple modes of communication, including excellent telephone skills
- Problem-solving and negotiation
- Knowledge of pricing and marketing strategy
- Ability to determine & establish appropriate collaboration and communication points (people, teams, organizational relationships) to achieve team advantages & customer targeted solution
- Considers aligning solutions to ChemPoint vision, values, & guiding principles

Pay And Benefits The salary range for this position is $144,200 - $180,250 annually. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive pay. Available employee benefits include health, vision, and dental. We also provide 401k matching for retirement and paid time off.
