The Database and In-Kind Donation Manager is a key member of the Development and Communications Team at New Avenues for Youth. This position serves as the lead administrator for the organization's donor databases and manages the in-kind donations program under the guidance of the Assistant Director of Development and Communications. Core responsibilities include maintaining accurate donor records, inputting and acknowledging contributions, generating data reports to inform fundraising strategies, managing gift reconciliation, supporting event-related data needs, and securing and organizing in-kind donations. The role also involves improving systems and processes and staying current with emerging tools and technologies to enhance database performance and donor engagement. Knowledge & Skills: * Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and work independently. * Ability to exercise good judgment and solve problems independently. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Willingness to work variable hours around events and holiday giving season (aside from companywide days off) * Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word/Excel) and the ability to mail merge documents. * Ability to work cooperatively with staff, volunteers, board and community members. * Respect the highly confidential information related to donors. Education & Experience: * A minimum of three years of experience in donor data management which involved a lead role in overseeing the management and utilization of the system to support organization growth * Demonstrated success with organization, collaborative problem solving and project management, and completion of donation collection, guest registration, and other logistics at events * Demonstrated ability to successfully oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously while balancing both short and long-term outcomes * Proven experience in maintaining broad internal and external network of business relationships * Raisers Edge & Greater Giving or similar constituent database management experience a plus * Working experience with Excel/Microsoft suite About Us...
