JOB SUMMARY:

PSG/CIP is seeking an experienced professional to join our Coordinated Response to Child Abuse and Neglect (Co-Re) program. Co-Re programming goals include minimizing trauma and facilitating appropriate therapeutic intervention for victims, perpetrators, and families. As the part-time Co-Re Coordinator, you will facilitate the movement of serious child abuse and neglect cases through the social services, law enforcement, and/or court systems while providing overall coordination of the department infrastructure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CO-RE COORDINATOR:



  • Mediate and facilitate communication and collaboration among agencies involved in child abuse investigations.
  • Facilitate multi-disciplinary team meetings with representatives from the Kenosha County Department of Human Services, law enforcement, Juvenile Court Intake Services, the District Attorney's Office, the Victim/Witness Program, Probation and Parole, Kenosha Unified School District, community service agencies, and the medical and mental health communities.
  • Participate in daily debriefings at the Kenosha County Department of Social Services.
  • Assess community training needs. Develop and provide team member and community training as needed.
  • Closely review and monitor cases, and provide case consultation when needed.
  • For identified meetings create and distribute agenda, send reminder notices, and create and distribute minutes.
  • Keep accurate records of case work and comply with reporting requirements.


LOCATION: Kenosha, WI. Position will be on-site during training period (appx 60 days), then flexible WFH scheduling will be available. Local travel may occasionally be required to attend meetings at various County or agency buildings.

SCHEDULE: Part-time 25-30 hours per week during operational hours of Monday-Friday 9:00am-4:00pm

SALARY: $30.00-35.00 based on experience and education

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Must have reliable transportation on a daily basis, a valid driver's license, and automobile insurance.
  • Must meet either of the following requirements:

    • Master's Degree in Social Work/Psychology/Criminal Justice/related AND prior experience working in the child welfare field
    • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work/Psychology/Criminal Justice/related AND a minimum of three years' experience working in the child welfare field
