Associate Account Manager - 3+ years experience

Sales & Account Management Team

This is a 12-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in New York, NY.


Summary
Support the account management team by driving strategic growth and operational efficiency across key retail accounts. This role plays a pivotal part in sales execution, account maintenance, and cross-functional coordination to support revenue and customer satisfaction goals.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • 3+ years of experience in retail/wholesale apparel or consumer packaged goods industry, focused on sales, merchandising, or retail operations
  • Passion for sales and account management with a strong foundation in data analysis and retail strategy
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, with strong Excel and reporting skills
  • Familiar with SAP and internal sales/account management systems
  • Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams including buyers, planners, and customer service
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, and business objectives
  • Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail
  • Analytical, solutions-focused, and highly organized


Job Description
In this role, you will support the Senior Account Manager in achieving sales and profitability targets while maintaining strong retailer relationships.
You'll partner with internal teams and external partners to execute account strategies, analyze reports, and resolve order or delivery issues. This includes maintaining account documentation and scorecards, managing order processing, and identifying opportunities for growth.

You will also oversee system data management, including item setup and chargeback resolution in SAP, and contribute to forecasting and financial accountability. By staying up-to-date on market trends and site audits, you'll support the broader success of the team and key business objectives.


Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience (5+ years of combined education and experience)

Background in sales, merchandising, account management, or retail operations

This opportunity is located in New York, NY and requires hybrid work (split between on-site and remote)

The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $45 - $48 per hour

This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
