Position Responsibilities


  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure software applications across the full development lifecycle
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor and mentor, fostering best practices in software design, testing, and architecture within the development team
  • Collaborate closely with product architects, product managers, UX designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
  • Engage with internal teams and external clients to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Lead code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical deep dives to ensure code quality and system integrity
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging tools, frameworks, and technologies to enhance development efficiency and product performance
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development standards, methodologies, and processes
  • Analyze enhancement requests to assess feasibility, predict outcomes, and evaluate design trade-offs

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years of hands-on software development experience in enterprise environments
  • Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, EJB, BEA WebLogic, HTML, JavaScript, Java Servlets, and XML
  • Solid experience with PL/SQL or Transact-SQL, including a strong understanding of data modeling and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Strong customer orientation and business acumen, with the ability to understand and address user needs effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint or other ERP systems
  • Experience with web services, automated testing tools, and reporting tools such as BIRT or Actuate
  • Familiarity with timesheet, payroll, and human resources functionality
  • Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies and practices

Compensation Information

The U.S. salary range for this position is $117500.00 - $205750.00. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
