POSITION SCOPE

The Water Truck Driver must be able to operate a water truck according to project specifications. Primary duties include watering the haul road, maintaining and operating equipment on a daily basis on a washing or crushing plant.

PRIMARY DUTIES



  • Operate equipment efficiently to maintain production goals
  • Perform general maintenance, repair, and service wash or crushing plant equipment as required or directed by supervisor
  • Individual must be able to lift objects weighing 80 lb. on a regular basis
  • Use of a shovel to move material will be necessary
  • Perform all duties within safety guidelines set up by M.S.H.A. and company policy
  • Perform pre-shift inspections on equipment prior to startup
  • Perform other duties as assigned



REQUIREMENTS



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Applicant must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid CDL Class A or B
  • Valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Part 48 certified
  • Acceptable MVR in accordance with Fisher's Company Vehicle Program policy
  • Ability to lift objects weighing 80 lb. on a regular basis
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Mechanical knowledge of equipment and being able to perform routine maintenance
  • Basic knowledge of welding and using a cutting torch
