Overview
Rapiscan Systems, designs, manufactures and markets security and inspection systems worldwide. Our products are used to inspect baggage, cargo, people, vehicles and other objects for weapons, explosives, drugs and other contraband. Rapiscan Systems security and inspection devices can be found in a wide range of locations such as airports, border crossings, railway stations, sea ports and terminals, government and military installations and nuclear facilities. Warehouse material handlers are responsible for accurate picking, and shipping of products to meet Rapiscan Systems standards of productivity, quality, safety, and customer service. This position is based in an industrial warehouse setting and is a position that is flexible to a wide array of duties within warehousing. Responsibilities Warehouse material handlers' essential duties are to perform various tasks in the warehouse such as but not limited to: Inbound: Unload trucks, trailers, containers of freight, assist in receiving incoming freight PO's, counting products, compare to manifest to check all shipments fordamage. Material Handlers must report shortages, damages, and mis-shipments on appropriate forms. Material Handlers must be able to sign for inbound shipments when necessary. Safely move all inbound shipments to storage locations to be efficiently located.
