We're looking for a Senior Manager, Information Systems Engineering to join Procore's Product & Technology Team. The Senior Manager, Information Systems Engineering will lead our critical Identity and Access Management (IAM) team and spearhead our innovative IT automation initiatives. What you'll do:

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers responsible for IAM and IT automation, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

  • Strategically design, implement, and maintain our Okta Identity Cloud environment, including Universal Directory, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Lifecycle Management, and API Access Management.

  • Drive the adoption and expansion of IT automation initiatives, leveraging tools like Okta Workflows to streamline IT processes, reduce manual effort, and improve operational efficiency.

  • Oversee the development and enforcement of robust IAM policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate security risks.

  • Collaborate closely with cybersecurity, audit, and other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of IAM and automation strategies with overall enterprise architecture.

  • Manage vendor relationships with key technology partners, including Okta, ensuring optimal utilization of tools and services.

  • Develop and manage team roadmaps, project plans, and resource allocation to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.

  • Provide expert-level technical guidance and troubleshooting support for complex IAM and automation issues.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and security best practices related to IAM and IT automation.

What we're looking for:

  • In-depth knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles, protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect), and best practices.

  • Extensive experience with Okta Identity Cloud, including deep understanding of its various modules and capabilities.

  • Strong understanding of IT automation concepts and experience with automation platforms (e.g., Okta Workflows, scripting languages like Python/PowerShell).

  • Familiarity with directory services (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP) and cloud identity providers (e.g., Azure AD).

  • Solid grasp of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance requirements (e.g., SOC 2, SOX).

  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and project management principles.

  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate, develop, and retain high-performing technical talent.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Proficient in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, JavaScript) for integrating systems and automating tasks.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Strategic thinking with a focus on long-term scalability and security.

  • Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure IAM and automation solutions.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable plans.

  • Ability to lead and drive significant technical projects from conception to completion.

  • Foster a collaborative and innovative environment within the team and across departments.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and evolving security landscapes.

Minimum certifications/educational level:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Minimum experience:

  • Proven track record of 5+ years in a leadership role, successfully managing and scaling high-performing technical teams responsible for critical information systems or engineering initiatives.

Base Pay Range $163,040 - $224,180. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate's job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
