INSIDE SALES REP

Activities and Responsibilities

• Identifies new customers and markets, provides the sales team with qualified leads.
• Creates creative and strategic customer solutions from collaborating with sales, product marketing and engineering.
• Provides support to sales; technical support and product training.
• Assist with planning and execution of new product launches.
• Sells prospects on the benefits of NSK products and services. Reviews credit terms, quotes prices and prepares sales order reports or forms.
• Receives prospective and existing customer inquiries on product availability, price and application for respective industry product groups.
• Receives and processes customer's order/releases, placed either directly over the phone, by mail, fax, or EDI. Investigates stock availability and shipment dates. According to location allocates and promises shipments in accordance with pre-established guidelines of interfaces in the allocation and promising of stock.
• Receives and processes changes in existing releases/orders from customers as production schedules and market conditions dictate.
• Records all orders and/or changes utilizing written reports and computer terminals to provide an ongoing accurate reflection of order status.
• Responds to all customer inquiries with courtesy, utilizes tact and friendliness in answering inquiries and solving problems.
• Maintains communication with field sales personnel on a regular basis to facilitate the exchange of information that may assist in servicing customer needs.
