Description ACARA Solutions and our Defense client have a 100% remote contract-to-hire position available RF Design Engineer $92.65 per hour Due to the nature of work performed within the facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES: As an electrical engineer for Airborne Systems: You will be a member of a cross functional team responsible for RF Board design across a wide range of signal bands. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: Experience in L,C, and S bands and board design. Experience in over-seeing Complex RF layouts. Experience working with digital design engineering What sets you apart: Expert level understanding of electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed Signal circuit analysis/design Ahead of technology trends with Research & Development (R&D) experience, as well as advanced proficiency in test, troubleshooting, and analyzing circuit card schematics Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with demonstrated success leading design teams for complex projects Team player committed to ongoing professional development for yourself and others Job Requirements Required Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics. Minimum 8 years of experience in L, C, and S bands and board design. Minimum 8 years of experience in overseeing Complex RF layouts. Minimum 8 years of experience working with digital design engineering. Preferred Skills: Master's Degree. Expert level understanding of electrical engineering, computer-aided design (CAD) tools, and mixed Signal circuit analysis/design Ahead of technology trends with Research & Development (R&D) experience, as well as advanced proficiency in testing, troubleshooting, and analyzing circuit card schematics Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with demonstrated success leading design teams for complex projects Team player committed to ongoing professional development for yourself and others Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
