Job Description

The Business Consultant will join the newly created Strategic Initiatives and Transformation Office (SITO) in Client Services ("CS"), a team established to support the function's top priorities and shape CS's multi-year strategy. This role will directly support key strategic revenue Initiatives to drive CS 2030 Monetization strategy. The ideal candidate will have experience at the intersection of business strategy, financial planning & analytics, and project management. The role will work closely with Client Services teams and leadership, as well as partners in Sales, Product and Finance across the globe. This role requires continual conceptualization and operationalization of innovative ideas for CS service offerings that add value to our clients. The successful candidate will apply a diverse skillset and deliver on the following responsibilities:

Essential Functions

Quantitative/analytics

  • Develop insights that help prioritize and accelerate CS revenue growth and support CS 2030 strategic initiative
  • Perform quantitative analysis and financial modeling to develop practical solutions and actionable recommendation for complex and ad-hoc revenue initiatives across CS organization.

Strategy Development and Execution

  • Provide fact-based understanding of competitive landscape / market opportunities.
  • Demonstrate influential and storytelling abilities through both written and verbal presentations.
  • Support both strategy and implementation aspects of key business initiatives, which include drafting business case proposals and working alongside business owners and pricing teams to develop the roadmap for changes.

Revenue Operations Center of Excellence(COE)

  • Develop an effective tracking mechanism that monitors operational performance, KPIs/KRAs, and progress towards targets and strategic objectives.
  • Be CS revenue operations SME by collaborating with stakeholders from CS, Pricing, Finance, Product, Legal to operationalize revenue initiatives, optimize billing process, and ensure accurate revenue reporting.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate strategy or payments an advantage
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, Hyperion, Power BI and strong skills in PowerPoint
  • Superior financial modeling and analytical skill with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.
  • Commercially astute with experience working in a fast-paced and evolving global matrix organization.
  • Structured thinker with robust decision-making and deep analytical skills. Keen eye for detail with the ability to support recommendations grounded on data and facts.
  • Strong storytelling ability to convey relevant information and recommendations in written and verbal form to obtain buy in from stakeholders
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities while working cross-functionally in a matrixed organization
  • Curiosity to understand the business
  • Proven ability to establish productive working relationships with staff and management at all levels
  • Ability to set priorities and manage expectations while working as part of a team or independently
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required
  • Experience in payments industry
  • Knowledge of project management standards
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 112,500 to 163,050 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
