Customer Lifecycle Management Strategist

Marketing / Customer Engagement Team

This is a 12-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Culver City, CA.


Summary
We are seeking an experienced lifecycle marketer with a passion for growing consumer subscription businesses. This role focuses on developing and optimizing customer engagement and retention programs through data-driven strategies. The strategist will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, design, data, and operations teams to ensure customers are connected with in a privacy-conscious, impactful way-maximizing value from their subscription services.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • 5-7 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, ideally for a consumer subscription business
  • Passion for customer experience and engagement with a strong foundation in marketing strategy, retention programs, and data analysis
  • Proficient in tools related to email, push notification, and in-app marketing, with strong A/B testing and performance optimization skills
  • Familiar with campaign testing, customer journey mapping, and subscription lifecycle methodologies
  • Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, design, and analytics
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, and stakeholder needs
  • Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate across all levels of an organization


Job Description
In this role, you will develop and manage strategies to drive customer engagement and retention for a suite of subscription-based services.
You'll partner with product, design, engineering, analytics, and business teams to define customer journeys, develop messaging strategies, and execute cross-channel lifecycle campaigns. This includes owning operational briefs, conducting A/B tests, and using performance data to inform continuous optimization.
You will also support campaign execution workflows and contribute to a culture of experimentation and data-driven growth, enhancing the overall customer experience and value proposition.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field
  • Background in lifecycle marketing, subscription growth, CRM, or digital customer engagement
  • Experience working on large-scale, cross-functional projects with international teams is a plus

This opportunity is located in Culver City, CA and requires hybrid on-site work (3 days per week)

The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $62.00 - $66.00 per hour

This position may be eligible for benefits such as PTO, health insurance, and/or 401(k), depending on tenure and hours worked
