About the team

Worldpay, LLC seeks analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs (Code must be used in core version of applications available for sale commercially).

What you will be doing

The Software Engineer Principal Will interact with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications. Additionally, the role will:

  • Participates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements.
  • Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
  • Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies.
  • Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
  • Trains and communicates with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Sales teams on systems application.
  • May be responsible for developing or executing project plans, budgets and schedules and for documenting work and results.
  • May deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups to internal and/or external audiences.
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation:

  • performing full-stack development with Objective-C/Swift and Java/Kotlin;
  • working with iOS and Android;
  • implementing clean architecture design philosophy and techniques;
  • working with software design concepts and patterns, providing results for internal and external customers;
  • utilizing debugging strategies and tools, performing diagnostics for both internal and external issues;
  • utilizing security protocols and best practices to ensure deliverable;
  • directing the activities of other engineers and providing coaching and training;
  • identifying problems and providing solutions utilizing troubleshooting skills;
  • organizing, delegating, disseminating large projects and delegating to team members.

Telecommuting and / or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company polices.
