JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY:

Leads complex technical and strategic Marketing projects that generally have been assigned a medium to high corporate priority, have significant budget implications, and are higher risk by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provides day-to-day leadership of strategic and technical project management for business partners by creating detailed work plans, facilitating group meetings and project deliverables, tracking project status, tracking and forecasting projects budget, developing business requirements, resource management, and appropriate change management, as needed.
  • Assists clients in the development of marketing requirements, plans, strategies, and approaches to take advantage of business opportunities.
  • Conducts planning sessions with vendors and service providers and defines project and performance expectations and measurements.
  • Assists business owners in establishing, measuring, and evaluating project success criteria and results achieved versus results expected.
  • Ensures that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensures that all regulatory, legal and compliance requirements are met for projects.
  • Provides project management subject matter expertise to Marketing department and clients.
  • Performs other duties and special projects, as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
ESSENTIAL MENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 30 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division an "undue hardship" then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
