Description

The Fleet Administrator plays a pivotal role in the administration and coordination of Convergint's U.S. Fleet program. This role ensures consistency, scalability, and alignment with corporate strategies while supporting the Director of US Real Estate. The Fleet Administrator is also responsible for providing backup support for both the Convergint Mileage Reimbursement Program and the Vehicle Fuel Reimbursement Administrator. This position is a critical component of Convergint's fleet operations, ensuring seamless coordination and compliance across all U.S. CTC locations.

This position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and communication skills, ensuring seamless operations and compliance with company policies. The Fleet Administrator is expected to uphold and demonstrate Convergint's core Values and Beliefs in all aspects of their role.

Key Responsibilities:

Fleet Management:



  • Lead the annual fleet vehicle order process, ensuring accurate forecasting and procurement.
  • Manage and optimize fleet utilization, maintaining and distributing "Available to Transfer" and POOL inventories to achieve 100% usage.
  • Review and approve excessive vehicle mechanical and body damage repairs to control costs.
  • Ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, maintaining all records for DOT fleet vehicles.
  • Support the acquisition team in integrating fleet assets from acquired companies.
  • Maintain the U.S. CTC location database, ensuring accuracy and updates.
  • Coordinate with Fleet Provider to process lease payments via ACH, ensuring compliance with vendor requirements.
  • Track and manage vehicle lease payments for CTC properties.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education:



  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field or equivalent experience.



Experience:



  • Minimum of three years of experience in fleet administration, office support, or a related administrative field
