Position Summary:

Provides nursing related direction and training for Curative Care's Senior and Adult Day Services LPNs and program staff. Areas requiring training by the Curative RN include but are not limited to: medication administration, use of oxygen, Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS), tube feeding, inhaler, and Diastat. Assists with client care assistance as needed. Completes process and record audits or observations. Collaborates with the Quality and Education Department to develop and implement trainings and to provide nursing related input as needed for the organization.

Essential Functions:

*Nursing care and practice direction.
*Training development and delivery.
*Clinical care process observation and audit, i.e. medication administration.
*Client file audit.

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications:

*Requires completion of an accredited professional training program for registered nurse (minimum of Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, and focus in Gerontology preferred);
*Use of clinical skills for at least one year;
*Experience serving adults and/or seniors with disability, memory loss, dementia or other health concerns;
*Experience with training development and delivery;
*Demonstrated ability to exemplify positive interpersonal and customer service skills; and
*Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in addition to proficient problem solving processes.

Licenses & Certifications:

*Licensure to practice nursing in the State of Wisconsin
*CPR and First Aid Certification (obtains and maintains CPR certification)
