Controls Engineer

STS Technical Services is hiring a Controls Engineer to join a growing team in Bowling Green, Kentucky. In this role, you'll be responsible for the design and implementation of industrial control systems that support advanced manufacturing operations. If you're experienced in PLCs, HMI software, and control system architecture, we want to hear from you.

• Design pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical wiring diagrams
  
• Engineer electrical control panels for automated equipment
  
• Develop and implement PLC software
  
• Create user-friendly HMI software for operator interfaces
  
• Provide technical support for system installation and commissioning
  
• Troubleshoot, debug, and test control systems during startup
  
• Deliver training and documentation for plant personnel
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines
  
• Travel to plant sites as needed to support project execution
  

• Proficient in programmable machine controls hardware and software
  
• Experience with Servo drive hardware and software
  
• Skilled in AutoCAD for electrical and piping schematics
  
• Familiarity with electrical and safety standards in an industrial setting
  
• Strong leadership and team collaboration capabilities
  

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Engineering preferred)
  
• 5-7 years of experience in controls engineering or related roles
