A&P Lead Technician

STS Technical Services is hiring experienced A&P Lead Technicians to support our client's LEAP engine field operations in South Florida. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role with strategic oversight responsibilities and opportunities for travel to South America.

As an A&P Lead Technician, you will lead field-based teams and perform expert-level maintenance on LEAP engines. In addition to supervising field crews and managing assignments, you'll work directly on module replacements, MPA runs, and inspections. You'll also assist with planning and operational build-out of a new engine shop facility, making this an ideal role for skilled technicians ready to grow into a leadership path.

• Supervise and lead A&P mechanics during field service assignments
  
• Perform LEAP engine maintenance, including MPA runs and module-level work
  
• Conduct airframe inspections (minimal repair required)
  
• Support APU services and field troubleshooting
  
• Coordinate field deployment readiness and logistics
  
• Travel as needed for short-term assignments in South America
  
• Assist with planning and oversight for engine shop setup and expansion
  

• Active FAA A&P License
  
• 5-10+ years of turbine engine field service experience
  
• Prior team lead or supervisory experience required
  
• Working knowledge of airframe inspections and engine troubleshooting
  
• Must be physically able to travel and perform field maintenance
  
• Spanish or Portuguese language skills are a plus (not required)
