From your PASSION to ours

Lactalis US Yogurt, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Quality Data Specialist based in Londonderry, NH.

This role is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and distributing quality metrics across the Lactalis US Yogurt (LUSY) business, supporting data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

The Quality Data Specialist will also assist in the investigation of consumer complaints, maintain customer portals, respond to quality-related inquiries, and help ensure regulatory compliance by managing state dairy permit renewals.

Additional responsibilities include supporting administrative functions such as tracking departmental expenditures. This position will work closely with plant quality teams, the corporate quality group, consumer relations, and accounting to ensure alignment with our company's values and business goals.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

Data Analysis (50%)

  • Capture and analyze consumer and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities for product superiority.
  • Calculate Complaints per Million Units (CPM) monthly and annually.
  • Consolidate and distribute final consumer complaint reports to internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Complete reports using the internal consumer relations software, as requested.
  • Apply critical thinking to management of consumer complaint data to identify trends.
  • Create and maintain Power BI consumer complaint reports.
  • Create and maintain Power BI specification attainment reports (ABC compliance) for LUSY plants.
  • Analyze quality data and statistics for continuous improvement and notify impacted parties (Research and Development, plant leadership, Corporate Quality) for follow-up actions.
  • Alert senior management of consumer complaints and specification attainment non-conformities that may pose a risk to food safety and/or compliance.

Consumer and Customer Complaint Management (25%)

  • Support Manager, Corporate Quality in the investigation of customer and consumer complaints with manufacturing and co-manufacturer teams in all areas of activity: manufacturing, foreign objects and product quality and safety complaint trends.
  • Provide support to consumer relations in their responses to consumer inquiries and complaints in the absence of Manager, Corporate Quality.
  • Implement and maintain internal store check product defect reporting platform.

Other Tasks (25%)

  • Manage customer documentation requirements and maintain customer documentation databases.
  • Provide support to Manager, Corporate Quality in preparation for customer audits.
  • Review private label and assigned projects finished product labels.
  • Manage LUSY plants licenses and permits.
  • Manage Corporate Quality Department Purchase Order requests and tracking of department expenditures.

WORK CONDITIONS

  • Travel may be required occasionally.
  • Extended hours may be necessary depending on the project needs

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in data management required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong skills in Excel; experience with Power BI preferred.
  • Ability to analyze consumer complaints and investigate root causes, providing clear and accurate reporting of findings.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement complaint traceability processes, coordinating responses across key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate data and situations to make informed decisions.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively to meet objectives and deadlines.
  • Client-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
