Health & Safety Specialist

Where You'll Make a Difference

* Implement and enforce site H&S policies to ensure compliance with regulations and corporate standards
* Lead and execute safety improvement projects across the site
* Promote employee engagement and ownership in health and safety initiatives
* Support incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented
* Conduct Gemba walks to provide coaching, recognition, and training
* Maintain systems for internal H&S reporting and performance tracking
* Develop and deliver effective safety training programs
* Coordinate occupational health assessments and annual medical exams
* Manage contractor safety processes including inductions and evaluations

What Makes You the Right Fit

* Associate degree with 5+ years of EHS experience
* Strong knowledge of OSHA General Industry regulations
* Proven leadership and ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
* Ability to influence teams and resolve conflicts effectively
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Experience in training personnel on OSHA and corporate safety requirements
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel)
* Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

How Would You Stand Out?

* Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM)
* Six Sigma certification or experience
* 30-Hour General Industry Safety & Health certification
