Overview of this Position:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for coordinating all activities related to shipping and receiving, inventory management and logistics of raw materials and finished product. Additional tasks include warehouse management, regulatory support as the warehouse SME, continuous improvement project support and participation on the safety committee. Maintain a safe and professional working environment related to staff and equipment. Work closely with operations, quality assurance and laboratory personnel to support company goals.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Current and valid state Driver's License.
  • Class C driver's license, or the ability to obtain through training.
  • HAZMAT certified, or the ability to obtain through training.
  • Forklift certification or the ability to obtain through training.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Warehouse Driver Requirements and Qualifications/Licensure

  • All drivers operating a vehicle under 26,000 lbs. will need to have a valid and current Chauffer license and an MDOT card with an annual renewal requirement.
  • Drivers will be required to complete an interview with the Federal Motor Carrier Compliance Company to start the Department of Transportation process.
  • Each driver will complete a required physical test and receive clearance to perform the job duties prior to operation of any of the GRAM vehicles.
  • Drivers will receive and acknowledge receipt of the GRAM Driver Safety Policy.
  • Drivers will review and ensure responsibility to carry out the post-accident and reasonable suspicious instructions.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Associate degree or above in supply chain or general business.
  • General understanding of cGMP, FDA guidelines and multinational regulatory standards.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Transfer materials to and from company facilities.
  • Verify documentation, stage product for shipment, load trailers for shipment.
  • Check outgoing product carefully for integrity, completeness, and condition of product packaging. Report and correct discrepancies as directed.
  • Package merchandise for shipment, either in boxes or on pallets.
  • Record selected material inventory in accordance with standard operating procedures using accurate Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Unload, check, and stage for put-away, including accurate execution of associated documentation per specification requirements.
  • Select proper location, shelve goods, re-warehouse as necessary, and perform associated inventory transactions.
  • Replenish forward pick location from bulk storage. Perform associated inventory transactions.
  • Check materials/products for integrity, completeness and condition of product packaging.
  • Ensure correct and complete labels are attached to all materials processed.
  • Support Weigh & Dispense activity, directly or indirectly.
  • Use of appropriate respiratory equipment to complete assigned tasks.
  • Record selected material inventory in accordance with standard operating procedures using accurate Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
