The Opportunity: A results-oriented senior manager of PP&T (Price, Promotion, and Trade) is sought to lead division's revenue growth and profitability by strategically managing pricing, promotional activities, and trade spend. This role requires working cross-functionally with various departments like Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product Management to ensure alignment and effective implementation of pricing, trade, and promotional strategies. Key Responsibilities - Oversees ROI pre-assessment using sales forecasts to guide strategic resource allocation and investment decisions - Develop and execute pricing strategies by aligning with product management team to set prices for products across various channels, optimizing price points - Analyze market trends and competitive pricing to make informed pricing decisions and to identify opportunities for price optimization. - Develop and implement promotional strategies that align with business objectives and attract target audiences - Monitor and evaluate promotional performance for adjustments based on performance and market trends. - Develop trade strategies and plans, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure alignment with the company's growth and profit objectives - Optimize trade spending by analyzing trade promotion executions to uncover opportunities for improved ROI and influencing tangible improvements for key customers - Present pricing analysis and recommendations to senior management and influencing decision-making processes Job Requirements - Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or other related fields - Master's degree (MBA) and/or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred. - Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience, with a focus on pricing, promotion management, or trade optimization - In-depth understanding and experience in developing and implementing various pricing strategies (e.g., cost-based, competitive, penetration, value-based) - Must have a experience with analytical tools and methodologies for pricing and promotion optimization - Proven ability to lead projects, influence cross-functional partners, and build strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior leadership - Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex data and insights in a clear, concise, and compelling manner. - Must have experience working with and managing data warehousing systems for accessing and utilizing large datasets.
