About the Role

As the Lead Operator, you will find a challenging opportunity producing high-quality products that will serve leading companies in industries such as semiconductor manufacturing, sustainable energy production, medical equipment and food safety. You will contribute to the overall effort of getting product to our customers by leading our operators through daily task and orders.

Your Key Responsibilities



* Build product to design using work instructions/standards.
* Ensure the deployment of a safe and healthy work environment for all work team members.
* Coordinate and meet manufacturing order (MO) delivery requirements with quality product
* Initiate/Update daily production plan to achieve Takt, include daily resource plan
* Coach and mentor cell team members * Share in the responsibility of team member development
* Lead Gemba walk and follow up on actions regarding Cell Improvement, Standard Work & Problem Solving Centers (PSCs)
* Follow Andon process
* May update time and attendance / weekly
* Provide on the job training
* Assure team follows standard work
* Verify daily 6S is followed
* Communicate with Team Leader any problems, team issues, etc.
* Follow Standard Operating Process (SOP) Lead Operator
* Responsible for training in the Work Cell and ensuring proper training records are retained.
