Job Description

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, People Analytics, the Data Analytics Consultant I is responsible for leveraging data and analytics to answer moderately complex questions for our HR partners. The position is responsible for various steps in the analysis such as data collect, cleaning, extracting insights and telling a story with the data. The position will work in collaboration with other senior team members to provide support on larger projects as well as delivering independently on client requests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Makes the business insights derived from data analytics accessible to those without technical skills.
  • Communicates and presents project information to team and provides presentations/updates to management.
  • Monitors and evaluates business initiatives against key performance indicators and communicates results and recommendations to management.
  • Compiles, cleans, organizes and analyzes moderately complex data to understand business results.
  • Provides technical expertise and education for clients.

Functional Skills

  • Data Analysis & Interpretation - Ability to compile, clean, organize, and analyze data to extract insights, identify trends, and support business decision-making, using tools such as R, Python or Excel.
    Data Visualization & Reporting - Create and deliver clear, compelling dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • SQL & Data Querying - Use SQL or similar tools to retrieve and manipulate data from databases, ensuring accuracy and relevance of datasets used in analysis.
  • Communication of Insights - Effectively translate complex analytical findings into accessible, actionable insights for non-technical audiences, including management presentations.

Education

  • 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Experience

  • 1 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This job does not have supervisory duties.

Education & Experience (in lieu)

  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $55,500.00 - 93,600.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
