Overview
Manages the annual internal audit plan, reviews performance and updates the plan as needed to assure that adequate internal control processes are in place to safeguard System assets. Examines, evaluates and reviews various financial and operational activities within the System in order to safeguard assets, assure adherence to established policies and procedures, evaluate adequacy of internal controls, and promote overall efficiency. Assists in determining compliance with external regulations, collecting and analyzing data for special projects, issuing recommendations for System improvements, providing assistance to external auditors, performing surprise cash counts and other cash control activities, and assisting in the annual physical inventory process. The partner is often required to drive to different facilities. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in business administration with concentration in accounting or other related area preferred. Skills and Abilities Effective written and oral communication skills. Excellent analytical/interpretive skills. High degree of accuracy. Proficiency in application of computers and software programs such as Excel. Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
