Research Analyst - Simulation-Based Training Solutions

We are seeking a Research Analyst - Simulation-Based Training Solutions, to support our customer at Patrick Space Force Base, in Satellite Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following duties and meet the following qualifications.

Duties:

• The research Analyst will provide research and analysis support to DEOMI on topics related to industrial-organizational (I-O) psychology, human factors, data collection and statistics, human relations, and social science.
• Reviews and evaluates data and information from databases and computer-generated documents/reports.
• Knowledgeable of techniques for conducting research, review, and process analysis associated with technical data from databases to develop and generate information and summary data; capable of generating process flow charts to support such activities as management and technical evaluations; able to perform management record keeping, tracking, and reporting and validation of information in source documentation.

Required Education:

• Master's degree. Experience may be substituted for degree level. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

Key Expertise Areas:

• Human Factors Engineer, Industrial-Organizational (I/O) Psychologist, Sociologist, Anthropologist, and Human Relations related fields.
• Key skills or expertise: I/O Psychology, Math/statistical analysis.
• Key skills or expertise: I/O Psychology, Psychometrician, Math/statistical analysis, knowledge of education and evaluation methods, familiarity with the Kirkpatrick evaluation model.
• Demonstrated expertise in research methods.
• Expert understanding of research design and methods, statistical analysis, and survey design.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and teams concurrently.
• Possess strong analytical, administrative, and computer skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Strong writing, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.

Desired Experience:

• Experience in simulation-based training design, execution, and evaluation.
• Knowledge of integrating simulation into educational research or organizational training.
• Familiarity with human performance measurement and virtual/augmented reality applications in training.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
