Requirements

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Customer Service Account Manager. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, managing repair orders, processing quotes, and ensuring exceptional service throughout the service cycle while reporting directly to the Customer Service Manager. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, organizational ability, and a proactive approach to customer support.




ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.



  • Manage assigned customer accounts, including repair order processing, quotes, and status updates.
  • Ensure timely communication regarding order status, delivery schedules, and repair outcomes
  • Track and follow up on open orders to meet customer requirements
  • Address customer concerns and resolve issues in a professional and efficient manner
  • Provide reports, updates, and account performance metrics to management
  • Maintain accurate records in the company's ERP system and EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)
  • Performs other duties, as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS



EDUCATION



  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required



EXPERIENCE



  • At least 1-3 years of administrative support experience in a fast-paced office environment
  • Experience in customer service or account management; aviation, avionics, or MRO industry experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems (Infor, Pentagon, or similar)

  • Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.



KNOWLEDGE OR ABILITIES



  • Language/Communication Skills: English: ability to read and interpret documents such as emails, report and correspondence. Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Excellent communication skills.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient computer knowledge of Microsoft suite Outlook, Word and especially Excel
  • Math Skills: Ability to use mathematics to solve problems.
  • Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to problem solve and provide solutions.


  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, strict attention to details and ability to multitask and prioritize as necessary, with minimal supervisory direction. Must be flexible in handling multiple tasks.


  • Interpersonal Skills: Must work well in a team environment and independently.




PHYSICAL DEMANDS


While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear; and occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
