SUMMARY



Responsible for working to scope, build and maintain Employee Navigator to meet employer technology requests and issues. Provides the Alliant Employer Technology Consulting team with system expertise in Employee Navigator, Ease, ADP and other HR Technologies; ensures technical functions are addressed appropriately, creates project deliverables, compiles information from clients and technology vendors, and performs system testing and quality assurance.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Responsible for understanding Employee Navigator's products and services to provide solutions to clients' issues and questions, exceeding clients' expectations and ensuring that clients understand the value of their relationship with Alliant;


Assists employer clients with case builds including benefits enrollment, carrier and payroll integrations and employee onboarding;



Provides first line of support for our internal and external customers;



Responsible for understanding all facets of the Employee Navigator platform through departmental and independent hands-on training;



Performs root cause analysis and recommends corrective actions;



Gathers and analyzes requirements and documents specifications regarding employer technology-related questions/problems. Analyzes employer technology needs and recommends technical solutions;



Conducts system tests to verify that the systems and technologies contain accurate information and work properly; identifies and resolves problems as needed including escalations with third-party providers;



Extracts, analyzes, and reports system data;



Ensures deliverables are completed timely manner, according to project timeline;



Trains users in proper utilization of technology solutions, prepares and provides written procedures and up-to-date documentation;



Responsible for continuous learning in the areas of technology solutions and market alternatives;



Other duties as assigned.



QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE



Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience



At least four (4) years of related work experience



Experience working with external clients in a team environment


SKILLS



Knowledge of creating Account Structures using a combination of class, departments, and divisions to accomplish multiple rules for plan designs

Knowledge of building out and programming 834 5010 EDI File Feeds



Knowledge of Payroll, HR, and Benefits procedures, business protocol and practices, web-based software applications, and system integration



Knowledge of Employee Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, etc.)



Skilled problem solver who can accurately document and communicate issues



Ability to successfully initiate and map API/Data Exchange connection for Carriers, Cafeteria, and COBRA



Ability to work through an account renewal (Open Enrollment/OE) - active & passive



Ability to be a 'Premier User' with access to the EN Support Team



Ability to import employees and enrollments and resolve import issues



Ability to maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail



Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork



Ability to work within tight timeframes in a fast-paced environment



Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite - especially Excel
