Overview

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Non-Nuclear Test Director, Test Managers and hourly personnel of the D272 Shipyard Test Organization. This position requires administrative performance at the highest of levels including presentation development and content review; tracking and adjudicating actions to closure; internal and external correspondence and general office duties. This person will help manage hourly OT, order and maintain office equipment and supplies, support department budget and expense reports and deliver government correspondences.



Qualifications

Required:

    High School Diploma or GED
  • 5 years of related administrative experience

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of EB organization, leadership and administrative policies and procedures
  • Associates Degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Project Management or related field.


Skills

  • The candidate will be expected to actively contribute in a team environment
  • Must have a demonstrated history of accepting responsibility and independently completing assignments with minimal oversight
  • Demonstrated ability to manage program data; collecting and developing effective status reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to compile inputs from multiple sources and prepare presentations, accurately review submittals for context, and adjudicate conflicts between submittal sources
  • Demonstrated experience completing assignments of increasing responsibility and the ability to communicate effectively at the various levels of a team organization
  • Familiarity with Electric Boat's Procedure Gateway, policies and procedures, and Security Manual
  • Must possess exceptional attention to detail and have strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Must possess strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively at various levels of the organization
  • The ability to accept assignments directly from multiple sources, multitask and effectively manage priorities amongst multiple concurrent tasks
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to produce clear, concise reports and presentations
  • Fully proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
