Job Summary:

The Program Manager, Healthcare Access Initiatives manages and supports healthcare access projects and programs within the Healthcare Access team. The position will work with the Senior Director, Healthcare Access and the Senior Manager, Healthcare Access to manage and implement healthcare access initiatives within Healthcare Access. Additionally, this position works cross-functionally to ensure consistency in approach and scope of all Society healthcare access initiatives, including healthcare delivery and access.

This role involves strategic planning, landscape assessment, program development, implementation, and evaluation to ensure that the Society's healthcare access goals are met.

Main Responsibilities:

Program Development, Implementation, and Evaluation

  • Implement the end-to-end operations and evaluation of multiple healthcare access programs, projects and/or initiatives.

  • Working with the Senior Director of Healthcare Access and the Senior Manager, Healthcare Access, administer the activities associated with each program/project/initiative.

  • Work with the Senior Director, Healthcare Access and leadership to track Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and break down work and key activities.

  • Maintain accurate records for tracking progress and impact and develop reports to communicate outcomes to funders, partners, and stakeholders.

  • Maintain frequent, regular communications, and serve as point-of-contact, liaison as appropriate for healthcare access programs and projects.

  • Work collaboratively with healthcare access colleagues and cross-functionally to ensure consistency in Society healthcare access goals.

  • Develop strong relationships with community members, local healthcare providers, key opinion leaders and stakeholders to drive community-centered and mutually beneficial programming.

Resource Development and Data Analysis (30%)

  • Effectively manage contracts and consultants, to enhance and promote the Society's healthcare access work.

  • Identify funding opportunities and manage budgets for healthcare access projects. Ensure effective use of Society resources and ensure budget alignment; this includes travel expenses, event expenses, and costs associated with advocacy and outreach activities.

  • Provide training and educational resources to Society staff and partners on healthcare access initiatives, programs and any key learnings.

  • Assist in the preparation of reports on healthcare access initiatives internally and externally and present these reports/findings at key healthcare access and healthcare meetings as appropriate.

Cross Functional and Team Responsibilities

  • Contribute to departmental and functional team meetings; provide support and feedback to colleagues.

  • Utilize matrix management techniques to foster cross functional relationships and market colleagues.

  • Actively participate in dynamic and adaptable teams, across vertical team structures, to advance work.

  • Support local programs and events and activities throughout the year as needed.

  • Attend conferences and meetings as appropriate.

  • Availability to work occasional nights and weekends to support events, committee meetings, etc.

Compensation | Benefits:

The estimated hiring compensation range for this role is $58,000 - $75,000. Final offers will be based on the candidate'sgeographic location, consider career experience and may vary from this range due to these and other factors.
