DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will review, analyze, evaluate, and further develop the overall treatment at Loysville Youth Development Center. Your duties will include representing BJJS in clinically oriented training and presentations, organizing and participating in internal quality reviews, and overseeing the implementation of improvement plans. This will include determining facility-specific clinical intervention needs and assessing training needs. As a manager, you will oversee the clinical staff to ensure that the needs of the youth are being met. You will also oversee the implementation of treatment-oriented initiatives and the annual assessments of facility treatment services. You can expect to provide direction in areas such as confidentiality regulations, multidisciplinary treatment, treatment planning, clinical supervision, and documentation practices. Additionally, you will assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating best practice guidelines and minimum standards for each of the cottages at center. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. This may change based on operational needs.
- Travel may be required. Overtime as needed
- You must be willing to accept employment at Loysville Youth Development Center and commute to this location in Perry County.

- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $77,379.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Youth Development Counselor Supervisor (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years of professional counseling experience with court adjudicated or socially maladjusted individuals in an organized program, one of which was supervisory, and a bachelor's degree in the behavioral sciences, special education, juvenile justice, or criminal justice; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes two years of professional counseling experience, one of which was supervisory, with court adjudicated or socially maladjusted individuals in an organized program
Other Requirements:

Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
