The Procurement Operations Specialist works collaboratively with stakeholder groups and procurement associates across North America to drive transformation and deliver best-in-class procurement solutions. You will lead and support initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, leverage technology, and modernize procurement practices.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Procurement Operations team members to identify and implement best-in-class procurement processes across North America.
  • Lead transformation projects that modernize procurement operations, focusing on automation, standardization, and process optimization.
  • Facilitate testing and validation of Oracle Cloud technology upgrades, system corrections, and process improvements.
  • Champion the adoption of digital procurement tools and platforms, including EDI, MRP, and supplier portals, to streamline PO management and transmission.
  • Drive the implementation of new tools and technologies that enhance procurement capabilities and spend reporting, including advanced analytics and visualization platforms.
  • Prepare and deliver training materials to support successful adoption of new tools and processes by end users.
  • Manage MRP implementation for BBU in alignment with North American and global best practices, collaborating with integrated planning teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Lead internal audit and Control Self-Assessment efforts to evaluate procurement controls and support the implementation of corrective actions.

Technical Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business or Supply Chain required.
  • 4 years of experience in Procurement.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Technical knowledge of Oracle Cloud.
  • Familiarity with procurement automation technologies.
