The Vice President, Business Networks Professional Services Practice will lead the professional services technical team responsible for our technologies in Business Networking including our digital solutions, and internal technology team.

Reporting to Senior Vice President of Professional Services and serving as an integral member of the senior leadership team, this position will be responsible for creating the methodology of implementation, staffing and fulfilling project demands, defining best practices for implementation, coordinating staffing from Onshore, COE and 3rd parties to ensure staffing level are available to meet demand. In addition, the leader will be goaled with driving additional implementation efficiency into the business by automation and standard deliverables.

The Vice President, Business Networks Professional Services Practice will be a hands-on senior leader who can provide counsel to the Senior Vice President of Professional Services, manage multiple projects and customers, lead technical consultants, develop compelling thought leadership and implement new methods of making OpenText world class in Professional Services.

Your Impact

Responsible for the delivery of technical solutions for professional services projects

• Provide strategic vision and implementation of that vision for how OpenText delivers solutions in the Business Network practice.
• Ensure an infinite resources model to include onshore, offshore, and 3rd party resources.
• Deliver best in class cost effective solutions.
• Manage customer escalations from a practice perspective.
• Forecast and take responsibility for P&L of the practice.
• Manage external consultants' quality and deliverables.
• Ensure bid review and cost estimates for projects.
• Driving software development of financial services software
• Development of AI based efficiencies to the business
• Creation of additional Advisory Services

What the role offers

• Ownership of Business Network from a technical perspective include implementation, delivery and bid/scoping process, drive revenue conversion and margin in the practice, create IP from the practice.
• Implement global thought leadership on improving practices and functions of delivery functions.
• Drive an expanded level of communication with OpenText customers and consultants providing career paths and team structure.
• Improve awareness of troubled programs and proactively manage the risk from the practice.
• This leader is a technical leader with the leadership, gravitas, and presence to work with customer escalated contacts VP - C level communication.

What you will need to succeed

Technical Experience with EDI, Software Development and Artificial Intelligence

• Experience with Electronic Data Interchange
• Software Development methodologies and development life cycles
• Technical Understanding of Artificial Intelligence to implement both internal and external-facing projects

Experience with and passion for delivering complex software professional services

• Technical knowledge of digital transformation professional services
• Demonstrated ability to successfully plan, implement, and deliver software solutions to fortune 500 companies
• Managing complex requirements and customers

Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills with distributed teams:

• Organizing resources from technical practices inside of OpenText and from 3rd parties
• Evaluate 3rd parties implementation capabilities

Experience managing complex project and teams:

• 10+ years of managing global and remote teams for professional services with enterprise software solutions.
• Ability to identify, retain and grow talent
• Requiremes strong negotiation skills

Salary Range: $x - $x; Depending on the candidate's education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
