Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Melbourne, FL. Interested?

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week (1st Shift 7:00 am - 3:30 pm).

Length: Contract to Hire.

Here's what you'd do:

  • Inspect aircraft seats and interior products for conformance with government and company standards and specifications.
  • Report deviations and support preventive and corrective action analysis, aiming to deliver the highest-quality products and services to customers.
  • Inspect the installation and operation of aircraft seats and other related equipment.
  • Inspect work areas and practices to detect potential unsafe conditions.
  • Read and understand the applicable technical information from Work Instructions, Drawings, Standards, and Specifications.
  • Use of inspection tools and test equipment
  • Perform necessary work registers as requested by production and quality documents.
  • Prepare technical reports of quality deviations for engineering analysis.
  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections.
  • Review documentation.
  • Maintain electronic inspection document files.
  • Perform dimensional inspections to drawings, including filling out First Article Inspection and Non-Conformance Reports.
  • Perform aesthetic visual inspections according to customer specifications, including completing detailed squawk reports in PowerPoint.
  • Interact with multiple department employees and management to discuss quality findings and issues.
  • Support the process of preventive and corrective actions plan analysis.
  • Commitment to company values and compliance with department norms, policies, directives, and procedures.
  • Incorporate Lean and P3E processes and concepts into daily activities.
  • Strive for continuous improvement to processes and procedures.
  • Honor and protect confidential and proprietary documents and information.
  • Application and use of precision measurement instruments and test equipment.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of assembly experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of inspection experience in a production environment.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Prior Inspector work experience with aerospace quality systems that meet FAA requirements.
  • Ability to read technical documents and interpret information.
  • Understanding of the metric system.
  • Safety and operating procedures for power-on aircraft.
