Supplier Enablement Specialist

We are seeking a talented and ambitious professional with expert level in communication, presentation, and project management skills to join our growing team as a Supplier Enablement Specialist. The Supplier Enablement Specialist is responsible for understanding the requirements and ensuring that those requirements are successfully incorporated during the supplier enablement effort. This role will work closely with the Business Units, Sonoco Category Management, current Sonoco suppliers and future Sonoco suppliers to onboard suppliers to Sonoco's Coupa eProcurement Platform and coordinate with the Catalog Implementation Manager to enable supplier's catalog. You will become the subject matter expert on the supplier enablement process, driving for continuous process improvement.

You will coordinate the processes and policy supporting Supplier Enablement. You will understand the needs of different supplier types, the organizational structure and how the organization wants to enable those suppliers.

You are responsible for tracking and documenting all enablement activities. Provide supplier training via one-on-one calls or webinars. The successful candidate will be the primary liaison between Sonoco and suppliers for supplier onboarding, responsible for ongoing enablement and all supplier onboarding activities, participating in regular status calls and delivering analysis of supplier enablement metrics.

This individual will provide the proper controls for onboarding supplier data for handoff to Global Master Data Management, identify the gaps in existing supplier data and support the cleaning of existing supplier data.

  • Provide suppliers with Coupa product support for the supplier facing Coupa Supplier Portal
  • Understand and support supplier onboarding according to business requirements * Bachelor's degree with a major in Supply Chain, Computer Science, or Business Administration, or related fields. * Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Experience in Procurement, Spend Management or Supply Chain consulting.
  • Domain Knowledge of B2B Procurement or eCommerce market and software packages, such as SAP/Ariba, Coupa, iValua, Oracle/PeopleSoft, or IBM WebSphere Commerce.
  • Attention to detail, good judgment, excellent communication, and a great attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good teamwork and interpersonal skills with emphasis on being a self-starter
  • Comfortable presenting to internal cross-functional teams and clients/prospects.
  • High attention to detail, articulate, profession business acumen, proven track record in managing high volume data tracking and entry; proven history in working in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:

The annual base salary range for this role is from $51,040 to $57,420.
