Position Overview

As a Security Assistant, you will support the FBI Security Program by managing logs, audits, and analytical tasks. Your role will involve researching complex security issues and contributing to personal security assessments.

Security Assistant (Entry Level)

  • Clearance: TS/SCI w/ CI polygraph (full scope)

Responsibilities:

  • Support the FBI Security Program through administrative and analytical tasks.
  • Manage security logs and assist with security audits.
  • Conduct research on complex security issues and contribute to personal security assessments.
  • Perform routine office administrative support functions.
  • Critically review and analyze various types of incoming material and investigative reports to discern potential security vulnerabilities and identify viable investigative leads.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree
  • 2 years of experience
  • Experienced in use of Microsoft Office products
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Proficient computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and use of Internet to conduct research and/or open-source checks in aid of investigations.
