Our focus is on recruiting electrical engineers with an interest or background in power engineering services to prepare engineering design packages for power systems facilities and renewable energy developments

Essential duties and responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:

  • Assistin the design of solar facilities and layouts, distribution lines, transmission lines and substation facilities including electrical protection and control systems for renewable generation, transmission and distribution systems.
  • Applyelectrical engineering formulas, skills, and computational tools to solve complex problems and ensure accurate project outcomes.
  • Collaborate to provide input to senior engineering staff on design issues based on the results of calculations or engineering solutions.
  • Conductresearch to perform power system economic evaluations.
  • Assistin the preparation of engineering and construction cost estimates.
  • Performfield observations, inspections, and data collection as directed by senior engineering staff.
  • Engagewith client staff and internal design teams, following the guidance of senior electrical engineering professionals.

Skills/Requirements of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field.
  • Preferred coursework in digital systems design, and experience with power system economic evaluations.
  • Preferred possession or ability to acquire within nine months of hire a valid of the Engineer-in-Training (EIT) designation.
  • Proficiency in CADD/PLSCADD software, modeling, design, and analysis software preferred.
