The Division of Academic & Student Affairs ( DASA) is where students discover connections and community. The TRIO Programs, including 21st Century Community Learning Center, provide academic enrichment support to low-income, first generation students. Collectively all programs serve students from middle school through college. The mission of the NCSU programs is to provide equal access to quality education for participants who have academic potential to succeed in college and to encourage and motivate participants to enroll and graduate from college.
The focus of the Site Coordinator is to manage the day-to-day logistics at one of two the target high schools for the 21st Century Community Learning Center. The Site Coordinator will also tutor students in areas of expertise.
The Site Coordinator will be responsible for the following:

  • Managing paperwork and required documentation, either hard copy or electronically, including attendance, services provided, etc.
  • Develop and manage the agenda at the site to best suit the needs of the school and students
  • Providing tutorial services in areas of expertise that align with the North Carolina high school curriculum
  • Conduct or secure facilitators for Special Labs, which may include instruction in ACT test prep, STEM exposure and instrument, workforce development skills, family enrichment activities, etc.
  • Ensure Tutors are present and providing services to students
