JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for managerial and administrative functions in the operation of company fleet systems and the repair and maintenance of such vehicles. Responsible for managing the Fleet by providing analytical and reporting support related to management of maintenance and fuel expense, inventory tracking, title management and purchasing of vehicles.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate the operation of vehicle maintenance and repair program for company owned vehicles.
  • Prepare and direct in-service training programs for newly employed personnel.
  • Plan and administer a preventative maintenance and vehicle replacement program for company owned vehicles.
  • Receive and process vehicle accident and damage reports.
  • Responsible for maintaining, monitoring and managing vehicle titles and title information in the Fleet database.
  • Process vehicle transactions including vehicle ordering, delivery and vouchering, as well as purchase of vehicles, employee vehicle sales and vehicle disposal, negotiating with leasing and/or lending firms.
  • Monitor and resolve any quality or on time delivery issues of vehicle orders.
  • Act as the corporate liaison with the fleet maintenance and fuel management companies.
  • Work with local and national groups as Charters representative in fleet matters. Prepare cost analysis and periodic management and operational reports.
  • Perform other duties as required.

  • Ability to negotiate with vendors on price, delivery, quality, etc

Required Education

  • Associate's degree or related field or equivalent experience

Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years

  • Fleet Administration work experience - 4
  • Vehicle Title processing experience - 2

Preferred Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

  • Knowledge of cable television products and services

  • Management or leadership experience - 2+

The base pay for this position generally is between $81,960.00 and $130,920.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
