Job Description:

On the production floor, the Production Supervisor directs and supports daily operations guiding 10-20 production technicians to perform their tasks safely, efficiently, and in full cGMP compliance. In partnership with Production Specialists, they ensure accurate first-time documentation, drive continuous improvement, maintain product quality, and uphold the strictest aseptic processing standards.

Operational Leadership

• Supervise daily activities of production technicians in manufacturing, ensuring adherence to SOPs, batch records, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Specialists to create optimized hourly production schedule, room and equipment schedules, and ensure availability of critical materials and equipment.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing / workflow to meet output targets and minimize downtime.
• Ensure proper gowning, aseptic techniques, and compliance in cleanroom operations.

Team Development, Training & Performance

• Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to production technicians.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement recognizing individual achievements and addressing performance gaps through constructive feedback.
• Mentor and develop Specialists while building a high-performing, engaged, and compliant workforce.
• Facilitate onboarding and ongoing training programs in sterile techniques, equipment operation, and safety.

Documentation & Reporting

• Review and approve batch records, logbooks, and other production documentation.
• Ensure accurate batch record documentation including completeness, ACLOA++, and right first time.
• Maintain accurate records of production metrics, personnel, and pass downs.
• Report operational status, issues, and improvement opportunities to management.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Maintain strict compliance with FDA, EU, and other applicable regulatory standards.
• Create a culture of quality with right first-time mindset and approach.
• Support routine audits and inspections to ensure documentation accuracy and process integrity.
• Support investigations and CAPAs related to deviations, non-conformances, and quality events.
• Collaborate with QA and Manufacturing Compliance teams to ensure timely QMS closure and batch release.

Safety & Facility Management

• Ensure adherence to EHS policies and procedures, including incident reporting and hazard mitigation.
• Participate in safety audits and lead corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee cleanliness, organization, and readiness of production areas and equipment.

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or equivalent required
• Preferred certification in Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Sterile Practices, TPM, TQM or other continuous improvement methodologies
• 2+ years of experience in sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing with at least 1 year in a specialist role required
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities under tight deadlines required
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills required
• ABU Specialist Experience preferred
• Supervisory and Pharmaceutical Experience preferred
• Functional expert in SAP required
• Working knowledge in Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required
• 90% or more on the floor operational oversight required
• Respirator Clearance Required
• Exospore to Allergens and Working in Aseptic Areas required

Shift: Weekday days, Monday- Thursday 6am-4pm

Compensation & Benefits:

This is an on-site, full-time position located in Spokane, WA.

• Hiring Wage: $92,000 - $120,000 annually depending on experience, with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises. Midpoint and above is reserved for employees who have longevity with Jubilant HollisterStier and consistently exhibit outstanding performance over a period of time in the role.
• This position is eligible for a shift premium of $2.00 per hour worked between 3pm and 11pm, and $2.50 per hour worked between 11pm and 7:30am.
• This position is eligible for an aseptic premium of $2.00 per hour worked in qualifying aseptic areas.
