TITLE: Work Program/Student



POSITION OBJECTIVE: To gain exposure to US manufacturing processes as an Electrical/Process Engineer through a one-year internship program. Help to produce the highest quality product meeting the customer specifications through safe operation of all equipment.



QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Must be a current college student enrolled in the Electrical or Process Engineering field
  • Fluent in English communication (both oral and written) required
  • Good analytical skills preferred
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
  • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Plans and coordinates production procedures in Industrial plant
  • Directs production departments. Regulates and coordinates function of the press area.
  • Introduces efficient production line methods
  • Initiates and directs procedures to increase company out-put
  • Any reports such as budget, production and/or downtime as needed by operations manager
  • Work on projects as assigned by operations manager
  • Write reports concerning status and/or updates of said projects
  • Work on electrical components
  • Adhere to all company policies
  • Any other tasks as designated by operations manager



WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:



  • Manufacturing environment



OTHER INFORMATION:



  • Goals for each quarter:




    • Learn existing project procedures, complete installation guide and SOP document. Learn basic program and database skills. Use troubleshooting log to resolve similar project issues.
    • Complete project sub-functions development and field test.
    • Project requirement collection and development documentation.
    • Using skills learned to develop a database application or web function with full maintenance documentation.
