Do you want to join one of the reputable engineering consulting companies, creating value for customers, people, and societies worldwide? Are you skilled in navigating time-sensitive settings while managing multiple and competing deadlines? And can you bring the professionalism and experience needed to operate effectively at a senior level? Then this opportunity could be the perfect next step in your career.

Contribute to an environment where communities and individuals can thrive

We are looking for a Senior Contract Specialist to join our team. You are going to work closely with a team of experts on some of North America's most significant projects. And we are pleased to have contributed to projects like the Fargo-Moorhead Flood Diversion in Fargo, ND, the Potomac River Crossing in Washington, DC, and the Van Sinderen Avenue Streetscape Improvements in Brooklyn, NY.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  1. Administer the prime project agreement and any other subconsultant and partnership agreements using best practice contract management processes
  2. Review all project contract documentation and identify project risks, compliance issues and cost concerns and implement appropriate actions
  3. Prepare, assess, and negotiate changes, claims, and disputes
  4. Communicate and liaise with client representatives on all project contract issues
  5. Support, advise, and guide the internal project team with respect to all contract matters

Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future.

The first step to growth in this role is that you are keen to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.

On top of that, you will have:

  1. A bachelor's degree in business management, engineering, construction management or related discipline
  2. Experience on large scale multi-disciplinary design build projects or progressive design builds
  3. A minimum 15 years' experience in a similar contract administration role or equivalent (Experience in the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction industry is considered an asset)
  4. A professional designation with the International Association for Contract and Commercial Management (IACCM) or similar professional entity is considered an asset
  5. Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  6. Willingness to travel across North America to support projects on an as needed basis (visit site locations, teams, and clients) (0-15%)
