Consulting Services Group (CSG) is seeking a Senior Special Activity Team (SAT) / Signature Management Policy Advisor. Position requires expertise in policymaking while communicating with policy and senior Department of Defense (DoD) leaders related to SAT / Signature Management issues. The Senior SAT / Signature Management Policy Advisor will be responsible for assisting policy analysts in creating policies and looking at ways to implement policies after they have been approved by upper management and senior DoD officials. The Senior SAT / Signature Management Policy Advisor must analyze both DoD and other USG policy issues so they can devise effective advocacy and program strategies in accordance with DoD customer requirements. An active TS/SCI security clearance is required.

Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Advising senior DoD leaders on policy issues related to SAT / Signature Management.
  • Preparing reports that outline the implications of proposed policy or other policy changes related to SAT / Signature Management.
  • Perform research on topics related to SAT / Signature Management issues in order to develop informed opinions about potential courses of action for DoD customers.
  • Coordinating with government agencies to ensure compliance with applicable law regulations pertinent to DoD SAT / Signature Management operations.
  • Reviewing proposed laws for possible impact on DoD SAT / Signature Management operations or the overall management of SAT / Signature Management as a whole.
  • Participating in meetings with DoD and other USG officials to discuss current events and issues affecting DoD SAT / Signature Management efforts.
  • Engagement with private and public sector industry leaders to discuss relevant issues affecting SAT / Signature Management.
  • Facilitate and participate in intra-DoD and USG interagency policy meetings concerning SAT / Signature management issues as required by DoD customers.
  • Serve as principal author and key point of contact on various SAT / Identity Management-related contract proposals and initiatives as required by DoD customers.
  • Provide technical advice on policy, regulations, law, and other considerations pertinent to SAT / Signature Management to senior DoD decision makers.
  • Effectively integrate and apply third-party risk assessments related to SAT / Signature Management provided by DoD customer elements.
  • Develop appropriate departmental procedures, processes, and business practices within DoD customer enterprise specific to managing SAT / Signature Management efforts.
  • Investigate and facilitate resolution of SAT / Signature Management security incidents and recommend enhancements to improve overall DoD customer security posture.
  • Work closely with other SAT / Signature Management subject matter experts and management to develop skillset for non-routine work.
  • Create and manage initiatives that improve overall DoD customers' SAT / Signature Management programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • U.S. citizenship is required. Sponsorship for employment-based visas (e.g., H-1B, OPT, Green Card) is not available for this position due to federal security clearance requirements.
  • Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required; must be able to successfully obtain and maintain a CI Polygraph.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant policy analysis, development, or management experience related to USG (preferably DoD) SAT/Signature Management activities.
  • Experience with traditional Identity Management and Cyber Signature Management Experience. Any type of Operational Support work experience is also a plus (IO, CI, HUMINT).

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Graduate Degree in relevant field applicable to management, public policy administration, or SAT / Signature Management.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Completion of the following JCITA courses: Advanced Technicians Course, Advanced Planners Course and Due Diligence Course

Work Environment:

  • Work is performed in a secure office environment requiring the use of computer terminals and classified systems.
  • This is a full-time position working normal workday hours, Monday to Friday, with weekends and holidays off.

Travel:

  • Occasional short-term travel CONUS travel may be required.

Job location: Onsite in the vicinity of Laurel, MD, remote telework is not available.
