Reporting to the Director of Regional Marketing Activation for the Americas and serving as an integral member of the regional leadership team, the Marketing Activation Manager, Americas will create and implement marketing strategies that are tailored to the Americas markets (US + Canada) and reflective of all brands (Interface, nora and FLOR). The Marketing Activation Manager, Americas role is responsible for developing and executing segmentation strategies to effectively target priority customer segments and creating segment-specific sales tools to drive revenue growth for the Americas sales team. Segments of focus at the time of hire will be healthcare, biopharma/life sciences and aviation. This role will be accountable for the full scope of the marketing plan and associated projects for any assigned market segments, including regional paid and earned media, digital marketing strategy, strategic partnerships, thought leadership, tradeshows and events, market insights and applicable training. This individual is also responsible for management of associated budgets, project management and collaboration with all Global Marketing functions in the interest of alignment, efficiency and brand continuity globally. Each member of the regional marketing leadership team will work hand in hand with the sales organization in their region, the Director and the Global Product and Marketing teams to maximize resources globally, while championing regional needs and driving sales growth. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute Americas segmentation strategies to target priority customer segments effectively; Collaborate cross-functionally, aligning regional marketing efforts with overall business goals. Create segment-specific sales tools to support the Americas sales team in driving revenue growth. Manage the paid media plan specific to the region and delegated market segments; In collaboration with Global Digital, execute and optimize paid media campaigns to increase brand visibility and customer engagement. Develop the digital marketing strategy specific to the region and delegated market segments; Partner with Global Digital on execution and optimization of brand email, account-based marketing, social media and segment-specific web updates. Build and manage strategic partnerships with media, associations, and programs to enhance marketing reach and impact. Lead thought leadership initiatives and research projects to position our brand as an industry leader within prioritized segments; Contribute to the global content planning calendar and collaborate with Global Communications/Content. Drive the rollout and activation of relevant global marketing materials within the Americas region. Gather and analyze customer and competitive insights specific to the Americas market and segments of focus. Lead the tradeshows and events strategy (excluding NeoCon) for focus segments to showcase our products and engage with customers; Partner with the Associate Marketing Manager and Global Marketing Functions to support the built space execution, material install and marketing associated with the event. Input into the overarching Americas PR strategy for the segments of focus in partnership with Global Communications and Content; Manage region and segment-focused awards and PR activities to enhance brand reputation and recognition. Contribute to market mapping for designated segments and provide valuable product input based on market trends. Gather sales input and measure marketing effectiveness of activations. Develop real life examples of projects and case studies to showcase our solutions and successes within priority segments; Implement in appropriate sales tools and platforms. Manage segment-specific photography needs, partnering with Global Marketing to purchase or execute on segment photography annually. Coordinate audience-specific CEU content and other educational materials.
Deliver pertinent marketing training to enhance the skills of the marketing team; Oversee the regional rollout of sales enablement initiatives or platforms in partnership with marketing manager colleagues. Manage budget and oversee resource allocation across all projects; Ensure timely project completion and success. Supervise and mentor an associate marketing manager.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, preferably in Marketing, Business or related field. 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a strong track record of success in segment-specific marketing strategies.
Skills and Experience:
Proven leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate direct reports. Adaptable, open to new marketing trends and technologies. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. Strong understanding of cultural nuances and regional differences, with the ability to tailor marketing strategies to specific markets. Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and global environment. Familiarity with the commercial flooring industry, understanding of market dynamics and customer needs a plus. Strong project management skills to plan and execute marketing campaigns, events, and initiatives effectively; Proficiency in budget management and resource allocation.
