Position Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented End-of-Line Indoor Test Technician to ensure the quality, functionality, and performance of air/water-cooled indoor data-center units. The technician will be responsible for conducting all prototype electrical testing in conjunction with corporate electrical engineering and helping create the procedure, process and documentation for the final system electrical tests, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with company and industry standard before new product/design is released to full production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with corporate Electrical Engineering for prototype units to establish the testing and documenting procedure to accurately document test results, findings, and corrective actions taken.
  • Work with corporate electrical engineering to define comprehensive end-of-line testing on Indoor units including temperature, electrical, and other system checks.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify recurring issues and implement improvements.
  • Verify operational performance against engineering specifications and industry regulations.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and system issues, performing necessary repairs or adjustments and train wire-techs (or other operators) on the required changes and modify the test procedures or work instructions as required.
  • Use testing instruments such as laptops and software, multimeters, and such.
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Required Education & Qualifications
  • Experience: Previous experience in HVAC unit testing and HVAC systems preferred.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of, electrical circuits & schematics
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality control.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift moderate weights, stand for extended periods, and work in a manufacturing environment.
