The Injury Prevention and Wellness Specialist plays a vital role in enhancing employee well-being and productivity by promoting physical fitness and healthy habits as well as reducing the risk of injuries among JAX employees specifically at our JAX Sacramento, CA, and Gainesville, Florida populations. The Injury Prevention and Wellness Specialist is a key member of the LiveWell wellness team within the Total Rewards team for Sacramento and Gainesville employees. This role is located onsite at our Sacramento location Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions
Requirements BS Degree, Master's Preferred in Athletic training, occupational health and wellness Passed the Board of Certification (BOC) exam for Athletic Trainer and remain current and in good standing with the BOC. Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification also required. 2-5 years of prior experience Training in Industrial Ergonomics Ability to provide large group training. Good decision making, communication and interpersonal skills, detail-oriented; compassionate. Ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports if necessary.
