Travel obsessed? Big tech fan? Hey, you're in good company. If you want to be part of the industry that makes the world go round, then look no further.

Travelport is the brains behind lots of your travel bookings- plane, car or hotel. Our technology is used to book that magical holiday, infamous bachelorette party or long overdue school reunion. While we can't solve mosquito bites or lost luggage, we can simplify a lot of the technical parts of travel, and we're looking for the best thinkers to help us do it.

We're hiring right now for a CYBER SECURITY ENGINEER JUNIOR! Search for #Travelport on LinkedIn and hear from our amazing team.

How you'll make an impact:

As a Junior Cyber Security Engineer at Travelport, you'll support our global security operations team in monitoring, investigating, and responding to security alerts. This role is designed for someone eager to grow their skills while helping protect our platforms and customers from evolving cyber threats. You'll gain exposure to industry-leading security tools, collaborate with experienced engineers, and contribute directly to Travelport's mission of powering the future of travel.

Your role in action:

  • Monitor, triage, and respond to security alerts across endpoints, servers, and cloud environments.
  • Assist the Cyber Incident Response Team (CIRT) with detection, containment, and recovery during active incidents.
  • Support in log analysis and basic malware investigations, escalating complex cases to senior engineers.
  • Help maintain and configure security tools such as Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), SIEM, and SOAR.
  • Document incidents, investigations, and remediation steps in line with established procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external MSSP partners to track and resolve security issues.
  • Contribute to the creation and improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Build and maintain dashboards, as well as collect and analyze metrics for reporting.
  • Participate in tabletop exercises, training sessions, and simulations to improve incident response readiness.
  • Stay up to date with emerging threats and vulnerabilities, assisting with the evaluation of their relevance to Travelport.
  • Provide general support for audits, compliance efforts, and security reviews when required.
  • Engage in continuous learning to build knowledge in cyber threat intelligence, cloud security, and automation.

Could this be you?

  • You bring 0-2 years of experience in cybersecurity or related IT/security support work (internships, academic projects, or certifications count!).
  • You have a strong interest in threat detection, incident response, and security operations, and are motivated to keep learning.
  • You're comfortable working with security tools (EDR, SIEM, SOAR) or eager to gain hands-on experience with them.
  • You're detail-oriented, proactive, and able to communicate clearly with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • You enjoy problem-solving and collaborating in a fast-moving, global environment.
